Arguments Against Physician-Assisted Suicide
Those who oppose assisted death, and all the terms that encompass that, believe fundamentally that vulnerable people may be encouraged to hasten their death rather than become a ‘burden’ on their families or the health care system. As well, they believe patient’s who are suffering from pain and anguish are not fit to make decisions concerning their life and that it is up the government to step in to preserve the value of life for everyone.
