25th Annual Spring Summit
The Society for the Discussion of Medical Ethics (SDME) invites you to its 25th Annual Spring Summit.
This year’s topics include cosmetic surgery, antidepressants, and “right to die” discussions, featuring keynote speakers Dr. James Anderson, Dr. Erwin Hess, and Dr. Melanie Leblanc.
This year’s summit will be held Saturday through Monday, May 19 – 21, 2012 (Victoria Day long weekend), at the Fairmont Jasper Park Lodge in Jasper, Alberta, Canada.
At a total cost of $3,500, the summit will include, in addition to afternoon and evening conferencing, three nights’ accommodation, meals (one per day), and VIA Rail and shuttle transportation to and from the Edmonton International Airport.
Please R.S.V.P. and deliver payment by January 31, 2012. Certified cheques can be made out to The Society for the Discussion of Medical Ethics.
All information on transportation and accommodations will be made available to those who R.S.V.P. Flights to and from the Edmonton International Airport are not covered by SDME; only airport shuttle and VIA Rail transportation are covered in the program cost. Should you not require these services, they may be exempted from the overall cost, by request.
Thank you, once again, for your interest in the 25th Annual Spring Summit, and we hope to make this year—after a quarter century of hosting our event—the best and most well-attended ever!
