Those who support assisted death, and all terms that encompass that, believe fundamentally that it is the individual’s choice and they should have authority over their body and life, without being limited by laws. As well, it is believed just having suicide assistance legalized, limits anxiety of the patient and would also make these types of suicides easier to monitor and regulate.
